PACKING MATERIAL
Embalagens RM is a company duly incorporated in Mozambique and operates in Maputo offering the services of import and distribution of packing materials. The packing materials are mainly for protecting goods during transportation, shipping or storage and can also be used for industrial purposes. Products on offer are bubble wrap, plastic film (stretch wrap film), corrugated cardboard paper, newsprint, and packing tape. Embalagens RM is part of the Group – Ramas Moving and Logistics, Lda but in the packing material supplies division. We have in our warehouses all types of packaging material for packaging goods for transport as well as storage.
Stretch Wrap Film
Stretch film is a stretchable plastic film that is used to wrap around cartoons and pallets for protection or bundling together products. Stretch film has elastic properties that keep items tightly bound together for packaging, shipping, and storage.
Stretch film is also used to secure, bundle, and stabilize products. Stretch film is made from linear low-density polyethylene. When applying the film is to be pulled and stretched around products to obtain tight and secured product loads. We have two types of films, the first being a film with a handle for manual use and the second without a handle, for use with a machine use.
We offer multiple varieties of stretch film to choose from in a wide array of widths and thicknesses. All of our stretch wrap films are made from virgin material ensuring the highest quality possible.
Bubble Wrap
Bubble wrap is a pliable transparent plastic material commonly used for packing fragile items. Regularly spaced, protruding air-filled hemispheres (bubbles) provide cushioning for fragile items.The bubbles that provide the cushioning for fragile or sensitive objects are generally available in different sizes, depending on the size of the object being packed, as well as the level of cushioning protection that is needed. Multiple layers might be needed to provide shock and vibration isolation. A single layer might be used just as a surface protective layer.
Bubble wrap is most often formed from polyethylene (LDPE) film with a shaped side bonded to a flat side to form air bubbles. Some types of bubble wrap have a lower permeation barrier film to allow longer useful life and resistance to loss of air in vacuums.
Newsprint Packing Paper
Newsprint is clean white paper with no ink. Perfect for packing, moving and storing, it protects dishes, chinaware, ceramics and glassware allows for more space in box as uses less area than bubble wrap.
Packing Tape
We offer the best quality standard carton sealing packaging tape made from a Bi-Orientated Polypropylene at 28 microns with a hot melt and rubber Solvent based adhesives options. You get the best quality in a range of sizes at a great price. These tapes are also available in a clear (transparent) or brown shade and are 48mm wide, with lengths ranging from 50m, 100m, 200m and 500m.
